Is it me or do the weeks just go so fast that there is no way that every post isn't a Weekend Update?? Slow down, sheesh!
Anyhow, we decided to have a low key weekend FOR ONCE and Justin ended up MIA at his brother's shop while they made a table for our house. So Addison and I watched Tinkerbell for the 4,539th time and took a looooong nap while he slaved away and did manly things. It was okay though, because I love my new table! Isn't she pretty? It's right behind our couch on the main floor. I am so excited to decorate for Christmas now! I am kind of bummed that Thanksgiving is so late this year, I usually decorate the day after and I'll only get a month out of it. And hello, I live in a log house for pete's sake. It was MADE for Christmas decor.
(The new one is the one behind the couch... hence, sofa table. Gorg!)
I had another appointment (SURPRISE!) yesterday for monitoring, and one with my regular OB who I haven't seen in forever, so I literally spend four hours with the docs yesterday. They measured the acardiac twin yesterday and said he is still growing from the last time we measured him, which was three weeks ago, but he still is alot smaller than the healthy one so they aren't super worried. Dr. Schemmer is going to call up to Dr. Ball in Salt Lake and have a little consult with him to make sure we're all still on the same page as far as not doing the surgery still. I am still hoping we don't have to, I don't enjoy the thought of being the guinea pig for the procedure. But we'll do whatever we have to if it means we can get our baby safely to us. Really though, if I can make it another month or at least till CHristmas, we could deliver if we had to. So we'll see. I am still feeling okay about it all. Anyhow, here's a really cool pic of both twins we got yesterday. The one on the left s the acardiac and the big one on the right is the healthy one. You can see the size difference right there.
Finally, in our last piece of news, we bought a new car! Well, new meaning used, but you get the pic. Addison and I have been rolling in our excessively old Ford Explorer and I think it's finally just about kicked the bucket. We'd been ready to buy a new car since like MAY, but never found one we liked. Finally I just did it. It's in San Diego, so we're going down this weekend to pick it up. I am SO excited to get a new, real, sensible car. Not to say a Jeep Wrangler isn't a good family car..... but it isn't.
YAY! My SUV. Sorry, environmentalists. I live in the frozen tundra on a mountain. There is no freaking way I can do without one.

Holy talented hubby! That table is gorgeous! Is he taking orders?? haha. Glad to hear that things are still going well with the bambino!
Justin made that?? It's awesome! I really love it. Way to go on the new wheels too. You know I'm in full support of the gas guzzler ;)
I haven't popped by here for a while but I wanted to say wow! What a whirlwind of emotions you must be going through. My prayers are with you and in my experience, Andrews make fantastic husbands and fathers :D Congratultions, I hope things go smoothly and you can get up to a safe zone.
Ummm I live in the suburbs of Ontario and I am looking into getting a landrover discovery for the winter... yes driving on nicely paved roads scares me in the winter:(
